Overview

Couple Counselling & Psychotherapy Taster Day

This is a morning designed for people who are considering training as relationship psychotherapists. It will offer a brief introduction to the main object relations theorists and consider how we apply their theories to think about couple relationships. It will address some of the basic questions around the training Tavistock Relationships offers and consider more complex queries such as how do I know this is right for me?

The morning will consist of teaching, question/answer section and group discussion. It will be a mixed media presentation with case studies that illustrate our current thinking at Tavistock Relationships and video clips that exemplify classic relationship patterns.
