The Effectiveness of Couple Therapy
Our study shows improvments in relationships and mental health

As part of the Relationships Alliance's mission to champion the importance of relationships so that they are valued in all aspects of public policy, we were pleased to host a seminar on 'Love and Work' with speakers Jon Cruddas MP and Yvonne Roberts, journalist at The Observer.

Cruddas' speech used the themes of love and work to highlight the importance of relationships to our society:

"'Love and work, these two things only' - William Morris

Love, because nothing else matters more in life than secure and loving relationships.

And work that is fairly paid because it gives meaning to our days and supports those we love.

Relationships give meaning to our lives. They bind us all together into society and give us our sense of belonging. We are literally nothing without them."
