This evidence-based training, which Tavistock Relationships has developed on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) provides an introduction to thinking about the couple/parental relationship for students and qualified fully qualified Health Visitors. It incorporates thinking about couple dynamics, attachment theory and life cycle considerations, including intergenerational influences.
This training provides an introduction to thinking about the couple/parental relationship for Health Visitors. Particular emphasis is placed on recognising and responding to relationship distress, transition to parenthood, couple conflict, and communication techniques for working with parental couples.
